Place Sitting Cards

If you are the lucky family member in charge of hosting your Easter brunch get-together, you are in luck! Whether you're looking for some decorating ideas or want to have some order at the kitchen table, these little place sitting cards add the perfect touch to your table top feast. Each person sitting at the table can feel special seeing their name personalized right next to their plate, and it's super fun for the kids to find their seat.Step 1: I cut this cute little bunny out with my cricut using the Create a critter cartridge. Step 2: I made a small card and ran it through my cuttlebug to give it a little texture and then inked around the edges. Step 3: I added some Sticky Thumb dimensionals to make the bunny pop out on the card. Step 4: I cut out the names on my cricut but you could also use stickers. I attached them on the card using my sticky tape runner and added some brads and a little strip of decorative paper. You can change these up any way you like and you could make these to go along with any holiday get-together. Super cute, super easy, and just adds a little extra fun decoration & excitement to the party!

Easter Garland

I thought this simple Easter garland would be a cute little decoration for my family room. Step 1: I cut out 12 easter eggs on my cricut machine using the Doodlecharms cartridge. You could just as easily cut a pattern out to make your own egg. I also went around the edges with my brown inkpad. Step 2: I cut out the letters Happy Easter on my cricut using the All Mixed Up cartridge, or you could use stickers or stamps. Step 3: I punched a small hole in the tops of all the eggs and glued the letters on using my Sticky Thumb tape runner. Step 4: I found this cute fabric at Hobby Lobby and tore some strips about 1 inch thick. Step 5: I used some thin hemp as my strand and i tied my eggs onto the hemp in little knots. Then I tied the fabric strips inbetween each egg. I left a blank egg inbetween the words Happy and Easter. I also added a few extra strips of fabric at the beginning and end of my stand. It looks pretty cute hanging above my family room window.

April: Easter Creature Goody Gifts

Since Easter is just around the corner I thought it would be fun to make some little Easter gifts for friends, neighbors, or even your child's school class. I made a chick, carrot, & bunny. Super simple and easy to make! Step 1: Make a pattern for your cone & trace it out on whatever colored paper you want.Step 2: I ran my Sticky Thumb tape runner along the edge of one side to attach the two ends together forming a cone. Step 3: Add whatever features you want on your creature like wiggly eyes, whiskers, a nose etc. Then punch two holes in the sides and add ribbon. I used a Sticky Thumb Dimensional to make the nose & whiskers pop out. Step 4: Stuff grass inside your cone creature and add some of your favorite goodies on top. You can even add a gift tag if you are giving it as a gift, or you can simply just hang them up in your house for a cute decoration.
