I thought this simple Easter garland would be a cute little decoration for my family room.
Step 1: I cut out 12 easter eggs on my cricut machine using the Doodlecharms cartridge. You could just as easily cut a pattern out to make your own egg. I also went around the edges with my brown inkpad.
Step 2: I cut out the letters Happy Easter on my cricut using the All Mixed Up cartridge, or you could use stickers or stamps.
Step 3: I punched a small hole in the tops of all the eggs and glued the letters on using my
Sticky Thumb tape runner.
Step 4: I found this cute fabric at Hobby Lobby and tore some strips about 1 inch thick.
Step 5: I used some thin hemp as my strand and i tied my eggs onto the hemp in little knots. Then I tied the fabric strips inbetween each egg. I left a blank egg inbetween the words Happy and Easter.
I also added a few extra strips of fabric at the beginning and end of my stand.
It looks pretty cute hanging above my family room window.
